A healthy relationship is something that everyone strives to achieve at some point in their life. No one wants to be in a relationship that’s filled with grief, pain, and disappointment. These type of relationships are not conducive to your growth and development as an individual. A healthy relationship balances the conflicts and the resolutions, the positives and negatives, the happy times and the sad times, the good times as well as the bad times. This kind of relationship allows you to be who and what you are. There’s no reservations in this type of relationship because of who you are. In essence, you can freely be who you are in all your faults, frailties, and failures and not be judged by them. This relationship is rooted and grounded in love.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that a healthy relationship is a perfect relationship because there’s no such thing as perfect relationship. You can strive to better yourself and in turn better your relationship, but at some point you will fall short in doing so. A healthy relationship is centered around effective communication. Regardless to whom or what always keep a channel open for communication. In good times and bad times let communication be the vehicle that keep your connected. Having a healthy relationship gives both parties the satisfaction needed and wanted in a relationship, allowing the emotional ties between the two to be strengthen.

Being in a healthy relationship will bring about, good health in your body, a sound mind, and a pleasing soul. This promotes overall well being and allows you to feel good about who you are.
